While our 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility houses many of these mattresses, it is easy to see how quickly we could be overwhelmed with mattresses.

Operating as a mattress liquidator, we do not order any specific mattress. Instead, we buy by the truckload and maintain an active inventory of hundreds of famous maker mattresses throughout the year (As opposed to traditional retailers that keep very few mattresses in stock, having each mattresses made to order). While there are certain mattresses we receive with greater regularity, usually every mattress listed on our website will be available sometime over the course of a month. Accordingly, in the event the mattress you want is not currently in stock, it will be very soon. Just let us know to put you on the waiting list and we are happy to hold it for you at no additional cost.

Because we often sale mattresses below original production cost, our suppliers prohibit us from offering the OEM warranty However, to demonstrate the confidence we have in our product, we provide a 30 Day “No Questions Asked” Comfort Guarantee and up to 2 year  warranty against structural defects with every mattress we sale. With brands like Sealy, Serta Stearns and Foster, Bassett and Simmons, it is easy to see why the decision to buy from us is an easy one.

Getting It Right The First Time
If you have been shopping mattresses then you are likely aware of the confusion created by the various names and models available, and how they vary from retailer to retailer.  With no industry wide standards, each manufacturer has slightly different interpretations of every comfort level from plush to firm and tight top to pillow top.   

 We are here to help and will gladly assist you throughout the buying process.  We will listen to you in detail about the specific requirements you have of your new mattress and help you narrow down the selection to the best fit two or three mattresses.  We then allow you to decide which mattress is the best for you.  Sometimes a disparity exist between our mattress wants and needs. Couples often experience similar concerns over the need of each being so far apart.  We know the selection process can sometimes be daunting,.  Rest assured, we know mattresses, will not let you make a mistake.

Ultimately, sleeping on the mattress is the only way to know for sure.  Therefore, after you receive your mattress, you have 30 days to decide if the comfort feel is right. Our No Questions Asked Comfort Satisfaction Guarantee allows you to exchange your mattress any time within those first 30 days, for any reason.

The Exchange Process
To process an exchange under our 30-Day Comfort Guarantee, simply call us within 30 days of delivery (please sleep on it for at least 2 weeks to acclimate.) We will help select a replacement at equal or greater value (customer is responsible for price difference on upgrade).  The only set expense due the customer is the cost of delivery ($25 - $50 depending on location).  We take care of everything else. The exchange is for a same size mattress. The exchange is for the mattress only, limit 1 exchange per customer.

Non-Flip Mattresses, Box Springs & Foundations 

At Houston Discount Mattresses, we know that a peaceful mind makes for a peace night’s sleep, Accordingly,  we agree to replace any sleep set that fails to live up to the high standards expected in the materials and workmanship.  Please take a few minutes to read over the warranty guidelines below.

Length of Warranty:   
Your warranty protects you from the day you purchase your sleep set and continues for a period of up to 3 years (view warranty length chart, included) from the date of purchase.  In the event that we replace your sleep set, this warranty continues your protection from the original date of purchase.

Warranty Coverage:   
            This warranty covers the following items during normal wear:

            Mattress:

• Torn handles, stitches pulled out of the handle where it is sewn to the mattress, and tears in the mattress fabric where the handles are attached.
• Coils or wires that are loose, broken, ripped or protrude through the fabric.
• Unnatural sagging: Structural failure causing dips, pits or depressed regions of the mattress top in excess of 3”. Your warranty covers mattresses that are continuously supported by a matching box spring, or equivalent, with an appropriate frame. The frame has to include a rigid center support with at least 5 legs, or a rigid center support with at least 5 hardwood cross slats for queen and king sets.

            Box Spring:

• Splits in the box spring’s wood frame.
• Squeaks, rattles or other noises.
• Bent, loose or defective beams and/or box spring center support rail.
• Unnatural sagging: A proper bed frame must continuously support the box spring. For king and queen sets, a rigid center support having at least 5 legs or a rigid center support having at least 5 hardwoods cross slats is necessary. A rigid center support is as crucial as the four standard legs (one at each corner) for ensuring your sleep set has the proper balance and support necessary.

What’s NOT Covered:

• Structural damage from using an improper bed frame (example: Less than 5 legs for a queen set).
• Comfort preference after thirty day comfort trial.  (example: This bed is too soft.)
• Replacement of another piece in the sleep set, unless that piece is defective too.
• Mattress, box spring and fabric damage due to abuse. This warranty does not cover product failure that is caused by anything other than defective workmanship or materials (example: Your movers sawed the bedding in half to get it upstairs.)
• Sleep Impressions less than 3” (Pillow Top Mattresses Will Settle In Areas Most Slept On, And More Than Areas Not Slept On. Customers Weighing Over 200 lb Should Consider Alterntives To Pillow Top Mattresses, especially Plush Pillow Top Mattresses. Sleep Impressions Will Form Faster and Settle Deeper In Plush/Ultra Plush Mattresses.)

 Houston Discount Mattresses WILL NOT warrant your bed set if any of the following occurs:

• The bed set has been misused or abused.
• The bed set has been treated with an unapproved stain repellant or similar application.

Warranty Schedule

Do's and Don'ts of Bedding Care:  

• Do give your new sleep set time to “air” upon removal from its plastic packaging. 
• Do carry your mattress flat on its side. It’s easier to handle and you’ll be less likely to damage the mattress.
• Do usie a waterprrof mattress pad
• Do use an appropriate frame and center support for queen- and king-size sets. Using the right support frame will ensure that your warranty remains in effect.
• Do keep your retail receipt in a safe place.

• Don’t let anyone stand or jump on your mattress. It was not built for that kind of weight concentration or abuse.
• Don’t allow your mattress to get wet, because some of the upholstery materials may compress. Protect it from water or other liquids.
• Don’t place a board between your mattress and box spring. Your sleep set is designed specifically to provide you with proper support, and the box spring plays an important role.
• Don’t bend your mattress more than 20°. Such treatment may damage the innerspring unit. Flex rather than bend the mattress when going through doorways.
• Don’t use dry cleaning fluid, bleach or otherwise unspecified cleaning agents of any type on your mattress. These chemicals will damage some of the construction materials, especially the quilt (sleeping surface)

Warranty Recourse 

If you do discover a defect in your new mattress or foundation, simply contact any Houston Discount Mattresses retail stores, ideally the location where you purchased your sleep set. If you can’t reach the store, or if you’ve moved, all you need to do is write us directly at the address on the letterhead of this document. .  

If a defect that is covered occurs during warranty period (which is described in the warranty schedule), Houston Discount Mattresses will repair or replace (at our option) the defective mattress and/or foundation within a reasonable period of time.

In order for this limited warranty to be valid, you must:

• Be the original consumer purchaser, and have purchased the sleep set from Houston Discount Mattresses.
• Provide a copy of the original store receipt, or other proof of date, place of purchase and purchase price;

If identical materials are not available at the time of product service, Houston Discount Mattresses reserves the right to substitute material of equal or higher value, or, at our option, provide a refund. You’ll be responsible for transportation costs of the product to and from the store or factory, as applicable. 

Houston Discount Mattresses reserves the right to refuse service and invalidate this warranty when, upon inspection, the sleep set is found to be in an unsanitary condition, or when the product failure is due to causes other than defective workmanship or materials.

Exclusive Remedy/Other Limitations:  
ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES ON THIS PRODUCT, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL NOT EXCEED IN DURATION THE TERM OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WHICH BEGINS WITH THE DATE OF PURCHASE BY THE CONSUMER. THE SERVICE TERMS STATED IN THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE THE CONSUMER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IN THE EVENT OF PRODUCT FAILURE DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD. HOUSTON DISCOUNT MATTRESSES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT, OR FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY. Houston Discount Mattresses does not warrant that this product is suitable for any person’s medical condition. Houston Discount Mattresses makes no warranty beyond what is contained in the writing.
